Sophiatown Heritage Centre announces Culture & Music Family Day

On Sunday November 1st from 2PM to 6PM in the heart of historic Sophiatown, the Sophiatown Heritage Centre are preparing a family day of music and culture, which will be as Todd Matshikiza described it back in the day, “the kind of dope you get once in a blue moon!”

The funds raised from the #storyofsajazz initiative have been pledged to the musicians for the show and additional funds will be raised to pay the traditional Tswana dancers and traditional Scottish dancers, as well as the Kofifi actors who will tell the story of Sophiatown.

This is a family day, and children are welcome, and entrance for children is free.

The musicians lined up for this family day of culture and music is as follows:
