Gauteng Opera lunch hour concert in Sandton

The Auto & General Theatre on the Square in Sandton is delighted to present and produce, for the 8th year, its uplifting music programme for all. It prides itself on being the only venue in Gauteng to host such regular weekly daytime concerts. Concerts take place every Friday at 13:00 (1 pm) and unreserved tickets are available at the theatre from 12:30 on the day. Tickets of R40 per person include a cup of coffee and biscuits.

On Friday, 13 November 2015, three soloists from Gauteng Opera will present a beautiful festive programme. Dorah Kganakga (guest soprano), Phenye Modiane (tenor) and Kagiso Boroko (tenor) will be accompanied by well-known accompanist, Paul Ferreira. Forté will present a beautiful programme of songs inspired by the Festive Season that is “around the corner”. Beautiful songs of Andrea Bocelli such as Romanza and Caruso will be heard and also Christmas favourites like The Holy City (Jerusalem), O Holy Night, When a Child is Born and Feliz Navidad, to name a few.
